I'm new to Joomla, and using the K2 extension.  First I must say the installation was easy, and management pages are easy to navigate and understand intuitatively what the options mean.

 

My question:

 

I want a blend of multiple features with my articles.  First, I want commenting capabilities, which it looks like K2 addresses.  Second I want rating, and subscriptions.  It looks like K2 does the subscriptions, but I can't find ratings.  I also want the ability to share them on Facebook, and other social networks, also something I don't see on K2, but working on this site.

 

The last and most important thing I'd like to see from my articles is to be able to format their appearance on my page something like the News Show GK3 extension does.  I can't see how I can get all of this to occur.  I've installed GK3, as well as K2, but since they don't share a data source for article libraries it looks like that's not possible.

 

Anyone have ideas?
