how registered user manage only his own page was created by totalwebshops
Hi,I am trying to get a registered user to manage only his own page.As admin I have written a lot of pages. Now I am going to change the author for each page from administrator to page-owner.This means that in a few days I will have a lot of registered users, everyone with his own page.Still I see that if I login as a certain user, I am able to edit all pages on the site.I must be missing something here :)Thank you in advance!Kind regards,Edze

Disable Joomla login
Enable K2 Login
Enable front end editing in K2 main parameters
Create User Group
Set the permissions for the group
Add users to the group
Users should be able to edit the items you allowed them to

Hi William,
I already found those parameters and User Group and Users in that group.
The point is that I do not see the option to give a certain user permissions on his own page only.
I can only give a User Group certain permissions in certain categories.
I would like to give a user permission to edit only his own page, not a whole category.
Maybe it is possible, but I just don't see it....
Kind regards,
Edze

I think for now you should give each user his on user group and that will do what you want. Im sure this will be made better in the future.

Hi William,
I tried this already, with no success.
For the moment I will just leave out the possibility for the users to edit their own page.
Regards,
Edze
