Hi,recently I transfered site to the new hosting. After that I noticed one strange issue.I can't add images to the K2 items anymore. I can upload image by clicking on "Browse server" button on Image tab and then uploading image directly to the folder.If I try to upload image from my PC by using "Browse" button next to "Item image" on Image tab and then press Save or Apply button, it looks like image is being transfered to the server but after that nothing happens. Image is not there.Is there anything I need to check on my new server? Like permissions on some folders or something like that? All K2 uploaded files can be found in media/k2
Take a look in there and see if you have the uploaded images within the item folder.
If the image is there, then we know that upload took place, and thats it not being correctly picked up in k2.

Take a look at that, then post back a response.

I checked suggested folder and nothing happened. I even set 777 permission to it but without results

I can provide super admin access if you want to take a look

Also check the permissions on the tmp folder.
I often chmod -R 777 to do things, and then chmod -R 755 ./ to change them back
Sometimes i break things i dont mean to.

I also did that before.

I even chmod 777 recursively on the following folders:

/images
/media
/tmp
/cache
/logs

Nothing works.

I checked everything, every single folder has right permission. I don't know where to look further :-(

Do you use Kaspersky by any chance ?

Have you found that this causes a conflict?

Yes, i have found an issue with a Kapersky component disabling this option. I had to go into my kaspersky configuration, Internet options, Configuration, Optimize the scan (In French it's called Optimisez l'analyse), and checked the box there. I then went into the selection section of this option and added my site with an asterix at the end like this : http://www.yoursite.com*

While i was replying to you, i resolved my problem by doing what has been said in this post : community.getk2.org/forum/topics/item-image-tab-not-working

I haven't tested if both settings (kaspersky and CHMOD) have to be done to make my K2 work correctly, but since i didn't change my Kaspersky settings when tying this new suggestion, i guess that this could be related.
