New Version Error.. Need help to fix it. was created by Edward Edquiban
Hi! I'm having problems on the latest K2 and I can't fix it. I cannot give the link because I'm building the site locally so I will just provide screenshots. First problem is this line-Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in C:\wamp\www\roversys\components\com_k2\views\item\view.html.php on line 58
-appears on the website whenever I remove or turn off "Display extended author info" on Author Info. When I turn it back ON that line disappears. I don't want author info appearing on product page so I turn them off but that error appears.Second is this line just appeared out of nowhere and no matter what I do I can't fix it also. Notice: Undefined property: stdClass::$author in C:\wamp\www\roversys\components\com_k2\views\item\view.html.php on line 58
I hope someone can help me. I don't know if this is a permanent problem or just temporary, in a sense that I'm still working offline. Maybe once I upload the site to remote server it will disappear? Here's a screenshot: see the Notice: above?

Hi Edward,
Make sure you have an author for this item in the parameter of the item in the backend.
It seems your item author information or your K2 core files are corrupted. Maybe a new upgrade would correct that.

I think I'm using the latest version 2.3. I will try and re-install and see if that will fix it. Thank you.

Hi Edward,
Do you have other problems on your website ?
Sounds like your Joomla! core is corrupted...

yes, i had same problem, itz prolly due to php/apache version something, not sure what. But moving the site online makes the problem go away, at least did for me.
online server setings: Apache/2.2.3 (Debian) PHP/5.2.0-8+etch13 mod_ssl/2.2.3 OpenSSL/0.9.8c
