If you installed K2 and then JoomFish (community.getk2.org/forum/topics/install-joomfish-after-k2)
you should have an option in JoomFish>>Translations to select K2 items and create translations for them.
Once you have K2, then JoomFish installed, the standard JoomFish documentation should be most helpful.

You have to do it the other way around.
First JoomFish and then K2. The K2 installation adds an important part that is not added if JoomFish is not present.

Hi Svein Wisnaes,
What option do I have if I first installed K2 and then JOOMFISH ? The problem is that I have created already my whole website with many items including pictures, extra fields, extra field groups aso and I do not have the possibility anymore to uninstall K2 now. I have tried with a plugin "K2 import/export"; but this is very difficult especially for extra fields and pictures. Thus I would really like to use JOOMFISH. Do you see any other possibility to get JOOMFISH properly installed even after K2 ?
Many thanks
Claude
