Sorting by featured items? was created by Paul Bauder

Is is possible to sort/prioritize featured items to show at the top of an item/category list? (similar to how sponsored google links are prioritized in searches).Thanks in advance.

I would like to know solution to this problem as well - how to put featured items first, and then the following will come by 'most recent' ordering?

Me too - I absolutely need this! I've been searching and trying every option to no avail.

I want to display a key item at the top of the page, followed by most recent items from all subcategories.

Hope for a fix really soooon!
