sorry if this is somewhere else... couldn't find it... :)

I'm trying to install k2 v2.3 stable in a new website, and it says it can't find the xml file...

checked the memory and there is plenty of space to install.

so I opened the zip file to have a look, sometimes the files are in a subfolder...

but when trying to open the zip file (7-zip in a windows vista platform), it mentions an unsupported compression method for the administrator folder, and uncompressing with winrar it says the administrator folder is corrupted.

I'm running out of ideas... what am I doing wrong?

Have you tried downloading another copy of K2?
If you cannot get that to work, try installing the svn and see if that installs.

yes I tried. Downloaded it 3 times. is it there another link besides the one in getk2.org?
