Try giving the usergroup access to more than one category...i think this is the way its designed. Many people create a special group for each user to limit completely their access to only their blog etc

Now i have test it... and: its not possible to allocate user in more than one usergroup. also with more than one categorie. But its possible to allocate more categorie to different usergroups.

Now i have some options. i greate some groups und set the users. Bu the usern can see also the "hide" categorie. What i have to change...?
