This is good code and very helpfull in understanding how to get a custom item list!

Sure, all this could be done in a nice K2 plugin but the essential is here.

Yes, it is very nice job ;)

But it doesn't show the image of each item on the category.php

Also I get RSS feed page instead of category page. The source code is on the file.

Another issue of category.php is with the pagination. If you click on the second page you will see again the same items with the current date as you could see on the first page. So the items with the current date is displaying in the whole pages. I would prefere to display only in the first page and in the following pages to display the rest of items.

I found one bug. When you are logged in it show this blank page

When you see the category page as a public user you can see the web page normally.

It display the item image.

It display also twice the specific item on current items list and on the rest items list.

It doesn't display the image of current items for the register user.

When the public user will see the current items the images are displayed normally.
