Video is not K2 SVN code problem, but JCE bug. It doesn´t work even in Joomla article manager.

Can anyone help me out ... ive tried all of the above and my scenario is a little different.

 

JCE editor is not showing in extra fields when I go to create an item. If I save the item then go back in there it shows up in all of the extra fields? Any idea why this is happening please?

 

Joomla 1.5.23

K2 2.4.1

JCE 1.5.7.7 (i've tried other versions too, including the latest)

Well the problem is not JCE because I cannot even activate TinyMCE while K2 is active.

I have read all answers and none solves the problem then the finger pointing which is common at this point. Is there going to be a word out from K2 in regards to this or we should ditch K2 permanently?

Make sure you get the latest K2 code from here:

 

code.google.com/p/joomlaworks/source/browse/trunk/K2/administrator/components/com_k2/models/extrafield.php

 

It worked for me in the end. Yes, there were problems with extrafields and editors but with this update ^ and any other extrafield code you should get it working.
