Open the k2.css file with an editor.
search for the following tag:h2.itemTitle
there is "font-size: 36px;"; change it like u want.

It never works for me, for some reason.
Template CSS is stronger.
I had to allways go to template CSS and delete one of the "H", and put it separat and style it. Then in K2 PHP files change to that "H". Never work even with "Important!" in CSS.

I am fairly new to Joomla and this is my first time using K2.
I had this same problem and I see the answer but I wonder if you can just have K2 use the css from the joomla template instead of it being defined in K2?
I dont want to have to always change the k2.css For a header style that has been defined already in my template already. this seems stupid to me...

I think it is better to edit your k2.css file instead of your template file cause when you change your template you have to re-edit your file again
