display children categories in calendar view was created by Tommaso Vogel
Is it normal that if I filter my articles by a specific category in the calendar module I will not get also the articles from the children categories?

any suggestions? Was the issue clear enough?
If I create a menu item and I call the articles from a K2 category I also get all the articles from its children categories... I would expect the calendar to behave the same way.
please reply, I need a solution urgently!!! Thanks.

Hi, same version as you (2.4.1). I am not a programmer therefore I can't realy help you... The only thing I can say is that if you are getting a blank page maybe there was some small problem altering the file. Maybe try again paying attention to the details. I don't know how experienced you are in php. I am a designer, not a programmer, and more than once I spent hours trying to figure out errors or blank pages and eventually discovered that maybe there was just one ; missing.I only followed Francisco's indications and it worked for me.
Hope you manage to solve the issue, otherwise try to post a question in the other post.
ciao!
