I don´t know. I know that it is some Joomla problem. It doesn´t work even without changing the code.

If i use some well known mail domains (@hotmail, @gmail) then it works without problems.
If i use tex @ddddd.com, @ttttssss.com then it is problem. How that script can know it is not valid ?
Maybe some check at server level.

If you mean "black lists" in your question then answer is NO.
If demands much more spam to get in those lists.

I think it is like this:
Seams so, but this time it's not Joomla! but a 3PD library bundled with Joomla!. Maybe your mailserver does a sender callout verification, and if that fails it does not deliver the mail but give you an error. If this is the case, I would say it's correct behaviour.
It is from Joomla forum. So, test function allways with valid email domain. @valid_example.com
I will try to find some extension with captcha to replace mailto native part. Don´t know if it will be difficult to use it in K2. Guess not.

It is easy to put there Aicontactsafe plugin. Then you have real captcha, text message field and you can have custom fields.
Will write it bit later. Plugin send URL of popup window, not of K2 Item.
Need to check how native Joomla email popup pick real URL.

Good is that link works to, as last resort.

With other words, i don´t want mail form visible at all. It i something that visitors use very, very seldom and not needed to be visible at every page.

I don´t get it why K2 is not with default modal box for Mail and Print options. So nice, so elegant.
Maybe, some tehnical difficulties, so they decided to be on safe path.
