Import Articles to K2 problem was created by Jock
Hi,
I am trying to import a load of articles in Joomla to K2.
When I click the import button it appears to have imported them but it has actually only updated the categories section with the new categories but these contain no new items?
Any ideas what is going on here? How can I successfully import those items?
Thanks

The import button is made to be used only once unless you want duplicate items created.
Are all the joomla articles published? I havent tested it, but it may only import published articles.
If you are getting the categories, but not the articles, I would delete the k2 categories, back up my site with akeeba, reinstall K2, and try again.
You might also consider using an import tool found here

Yea the articles are published.
Really dont want to re-install K2.
The reason these are articles in the 1st is place is because I have imported from word press to Joomla.
I guess my 2nd question would be ... is it possible to import to K2 from Word Press or Blogger?

OK ive just realised that these will not import into K2 until they have an author. So I have forced them to have a default author and it works!
