I have some basic K2 categories set up and would like to remove the link underneath each one that says "View Items." I can't white the link out to blend in with the background because it turns all links white. Is there any way to completely remove the "View Items" link altogether?

You will have to edit the category.php file in the K2 template. There in line 113 it's the link you are referring to.

I found that file and changed it, but it did nothing...

components > com_k2> templates> Default> category.php

Could that be stored elsewhere?
