I starting up using using K2 but I am joomla user since its birth, so please do not blame me for asking this maybe easy question.

I have a site which it is using K2 to display a restaurant menu, I like the look and everything seams to be coming out the way I wanted, except one thing. I can't get the description/intro text for categories to truncate at lets say 15 words or 75 characters.

My goal is that in category view the listed cats only show certain amount of characters and that when click to see the products under that category, it display the full text for category description, I also want the same to apply for individual products/ items, but that I seam to have under control.

 

Hopefully you get my idea, but in case this is my site and I would like a perfect alignment of categories instead of having different heights.
