I have Joomla 2.5.6, PHP 5.4.4 and updated K2 today to 2.5.7. I was really just looking for a comments extension, but read about K2 and it tweaked my curiosity! When I installed K2 I got quite a few "Warning: Creating default object from empty value" messages, which from a quick google round, seems to be because I have PHP5.4 and when I add the odd "thingsname = new stdClass();" it seems to sort them. So, so far so good, until I tried to "feature" some of my articles, or items. Pre-K2 I had a nice little website and when I marked articles as "featured" Joomla 2.5 automatically put them on my home page with a "Read More" button (which I added to the text), and it looked quite cool! When I feature K2 Items, they dont appear on my Home Page (or Front Page, whatever you want to call it!). I saw a post in this forum that said to add the items I want featured to the "Home menu". I'm not sure what this means, as I have a main menu, which my Home page is on, but I dont want the featured items to be on this menu (at least not at the top level, they are already a sub level in a Category). Am I doing something wrong or does K2 not have this Joomla 2.5 functionality? Thanks in advance, Rob.
