Can't delete image within media manager was created by Helmut Mehlhart
I'm wondering, but I cannot delete some images out of the media manager.
It doesn't matter if I click the Delete-Key or if i try to use the right Mouse button to delete.
Nothing happens - no error message appears.
May the update of the new K2 Versions leads to this problem ?
I now have K2 Ver. 2.6.1 running.
I'm sure that it works sometime before.

Hi. What version of Joomla! are you using? Also you need to make sure that the image files have the appropriate permissions to be deleted.

It shouldn't have anything to do with permissions. As you can see at the proberties I have read and write permissions. I also checked the file system, I have 644, so it should be enough. The strange is, that I can select the "Delete" function. But nothing happens. Neither I get an error message.

It seems that it is an issue of the media manager with the latest jQuery (1.8.2). We need some more time on this until we resolve it. Thanks for reporting this.

Hi Lefteris,
I had the same problem when i wanted to delete some pictures with the K2 Media Manager.
Now, with your solution it's ok.
Thanks for the job and good luck :)
