Hi new to K2 was created by Steve Hutchinson
I just installed K2, was my understanding that
a) i would have a control panel, upon selecting K2 from components
b) there would be a control panel on main admin screen
c) there would be a plugin/module for K2 Login
none of these 3 things seem to be present, any ideas please

Hi,
Please tell us the version of joomla and k2 you use.
a) Extensions > Components > K2 ?
b) Its an administrator module named "k2 icons" or so that you have to publish
c) Module K2 user to pubish.
To use K2 properly you wil need some basic knowledge of Joomla as well.

gday steve
i had same problem with the quick icons not appearing in the control panel, although they were enabled, so in the module manager i clicked on them and had to select a position for them (i chose cpanel) then they came up
hope that works for you too

Hi. The Quickicons needs also to be published in a valid template position. In Joomla! 2.5 default administration template the position is named "icon". The login module is the K2 User module.
