When I add a new K2 Item, the detail page lists the dates as

Created date: Sunday, 16 December 2012 19:27
Modified date: Sunday, 16 December 2012 19:28

However when I go back to the list of Items, the grid shows all of the articles in the format dd/mm/yyyy
16/12/2012 - 19:27
and
16/12/2012 - 19:28

In the US, the correct format is mm/dd/yyyy.
Is there anyway to change the grids date format?

I downloaded the K2 English Language Pack;
searched all of the files in the Language Pack and changing date entries to m/d/Y from d/m/Y;
and the installed Laungage Pack.
