Is it a way to index k2 categories? was created by Bam
I'm using K2 as a directory to list venues and events at those venues. I need my users to be able to locate venues alphabetically. Is it any extension out there to allow me to do this?

You mean like a bar across the page like
A|B|C|D|E|G|H|I|J.....etc
Because I'm looking for something like that. Similar to what FlexiContent has built in.

No luck so far and yes I have tried JED. I toyed around with FlexiContent because of the built in search and alpha index, but found that K2 was much better out of the box.
