Hello Julien,

From what I can see from your screenshot the bot tries to add a ?format=feed to all your links.
Try disallowing the crawling of urls with a query string from your robots.txt since you already have SEF enabled.

Being no expert in SEO I just used Disallow: /*?* and I saw a decrease on my 500 errors.

The problem does not lie with K2, the googlebot if you do not block it and use a sitemap.xml,
will try to index every possible page.

Just add
Disallow: /*?*

to your robots.txt file located on the public_html folder.

I don't think XMAP has anything to do with this since it only renders items mapped from menus.

Happy to be of assistance.

Im a bit lost?

ias adding this to the robot file wont penalize my other component?

Since you have SEF enabled and the SH404sef installed I really doubt that you will encounter any link that contains query strings apart from your RSS or ATOM feeds... so no penalty here :)

As far as the issue, I would double check the SH404sef 's component settings.

Hello Julien,

Still here but I cannot help you with SH404 plugin, I'm afraid my knowledge on this component is quite minimal. You can try their support forums.

FYI Disallow: /*?* resolved all of my issues on google webmaster tools.
I marked all these 500 errors as resolved and I haven't received a new error in weeks.

Answer from Yootheme:
That seems to be K2 issue and not related to the template. Please check with the K2 developers.

Try the plugin developers not the template developers :)

Thisis SH404 Sef answer:

Hello

Is not the google bot and even sh404sef which ads that ?format=feed extra at the end of your urls and I`m afraid it`s probably K2 comp. which render a relative url for those feeds, and you`ll have to find what it`s rendering them and fix

Rgds

As it seams those are urls which were visited before sh4040sef were installed in your website and when spiders try revisiting again they dont exists anymore so I suggest you better ignore those and search engines will remove them with time passing from their cache
