Templating K2 - different number of columns was created by vicky
Hello to everyone
i was wondering if k2 its capable to create in one page different number of columns.
What i mean is that i need a category at the top of the page (one column and one line) and below that a line with 3 different columns (for my categories).
Like a table 2x3 but with the first line to be merged.
Thank you very much for your help.

Look at the parameters of the main category, "Category view options" section.
I think you can have the look you need with adjusting these parameters

At the parameters in category view i can only set the number of columns in one line.
I need to make a tree view with categories in my home page.
Thank you for reply.

Something like this demo.joomreem.com/
4 categories. One on the top and the other three under the first one.

This is my demo site :cheer:
Anyway, these are not all categories, the 3 in the second line are articles.
If you want the top line to be the root/parent category, and the second line to be its sub/children categories, you can adjust the "Sub-category handling" section under "Category view options" tab, by entering 3 in the "Columns" parameter, or any number of columns you want.
