Items filtered by date was created by Ray
When using k2 tools calendar I will click on the calendar date "April 25" the page will display the correct articles from the correct date but, above the articles it say's Items filtered by date: "April 24" it's 1 day off.

Also when using K2 tools for Archive it will display the current month "April" but when clicking on it the correct articles from april will display but again Items filtered by date: says "March"

Any idea's?

Thanks

Hello Ray,

Have you selected the correct timezone in Joomla!'s settings?

Yes, the time zone is correct, it seems weird it pulls the correct articles from the date you click on calendar but the Items filtered by date: that appears at the top of the page is a day behind. Is there a way to disable the "Items filtered by date:" appearing?

Thanks

Yes you can override the language strings.

You need to go to Joomla!'s language overrides and change K2_ITEMS_FILTERED_BY_DATE to anything you want.

Hello Krikor,

Thanks but I want to eliminate the entire line including the date. The language file will only change or eliminate the text before and after the date. Maybe an option whether to display it in the module would be nice.

Thanks

Then you need to disable your Page Heading. (Joomla! menu item setting)

You can use a custom heading from Page Display Options, insert a module (not recommended) or insert a heading directly in your index.php.

The latter option requires a conditional check with PHP.

I have the same problem. I have the correct time zone selected in Joomla. I don't want to hide the problem by changing the language file, I want to resolve the k2 timezone problem. Is there a fix?

The same thing happens when you search by month: my-site.com/events/itemlist/date/2013/12/
K2 breadcrumbs say: "Items filtered by date: November 2013"

The breadcrumbs are one month off, but the search results are correct.

Also, half-way through the day, the "Today's Date" in the K2 tools module highlights as tomorrow's date. Does K2 use a different timezone than Joomla?

Do you use K2 template overrides? If you do, please disable them and check again with the default K2 template.

Also, is it possible to provide us with a link to your calendar?

I'm very sorry for the delay. Yes, I'm using K2 overrides, but I'm not sure where the problem might be. Where could I send you the link in private?

Thank you.

Hello,

Did you try to disable your K2 overrides or even better try to add ?tmpl=system at the end of your site's URL. That way you will see your site without any style/overrides. Check if the dates are correct there. We need to limit out the that this malfunction is coming from the overrides.
Try it and let me know.

Also, update your Joomla! to the latest version and re-check your timezone settings.

When I put ?tmpl=system at the end of my URL, I get a black white screen.
