Can someone help me track down the code that adds <link rel=next pagination that K2 injects into the head.

I have scanned the whole component for addtohead but no luck

I need to remove the code as it is not required for a current project.

This link is not being generated by K2 nor Joomla!. It must be from a SEF/SEO extension.

I am running sh404sef but what leads me to believe that K2 is inserting the code is due to the fact that Joomla articles do not add the pagination code in the head!

So this throws out the sef component idea...

The latest version of sh404sef has rel=next as an SEO option!
