404 Page Not Found - When using K2 User was created by Brett Boggeman
I keep getting this 404 Page Not Found error when i try to register for a site i created. I have searched online and every thing they say to do does not work. The joomla login works on my test page but the K2 user login does not work on our main page.

Please help!

Hello Brett,

You should upgrade your overrides, it is possible you are using outdated overrides for mod_k2_user.

You should read the documentation section, there is a tutorial on overriding.
You have to grab a new dl of the module and compare your overrides.

If you are familiar with overriding for Joomla! it shouldn't be an issue, it works in the same way.

I am not very familiar with overrides at all.

I was reading the documentation, it says to find the one corresponding with the version of K2 i have, but i have (Last update: April 7th, 2013 - Version 2.6.6) and the highest on the overrides page is 2.6.5. What should i do?

That shouldn't be a problem. There are no changes in your templates for the 2.6.6 versions.

Chances are you will only need to update the user forms (register.php, profile.php and the K2 user module).

You tried to update the ones on your overrides folder and this didn't work, right?
You have to make sure this is not a template issue by using a ?template=system as a suffix on your URLs or by disabling your overrides altogether to see whats causing you this issue.
