2 column blog layout from 1 category. was created by Simon Parker
Im using the rockettheme leviathan template and have set it to style K2

i made a menu item using the latest items from a category or categories and then chosen the blog category

i set it to use a 2 column width and up to 6 articles from a single category / user.

It now shows a single column and no right column at all.

If i set it to bring in articles from 2 categories then it fills the second column

How to make this work with just one category?

Hello Simon,

This is the default functionality, one column per user/category. If you wish to change this you have to manually set 50% widths and floats. the files you need to edit are located at templates/yourtemplate/html/com_k2/default ( or what override your template is using )/ latest.php and latest_item.php.

I am sure the template developer can provide you with valuable info on the template and its structure.
