I am running a website on joomla 1.5 with K2 2.6.6

There is a problem with the og:url meta tag. There is an extra parameter to the end of the url like ?q=page alias.

Suppose you have a url like this: www.website.com/articles/sport/item/150
The url that K2 produces for og:url is www.website.com/articles/sport/item/150?q=articles/sport

That url turns into loop and facebook does not recognize the url.

Any ideas?

Are you using ans SEO/SEF extensions or any .htaccess tweaks?
This suffix is not added by K2.

Finally I figured it out.
The problem was with the nginx directives for Joomla.
