is the user extended info for going to exist for Joomla 3.0 ? The 2.1 version gives me xml error and does not install on my site. I ve tried to force it with discover, it installs but the extended fields do not show.

Is there a "hard way" to add extra fields for users ?

Update about this.The plugin seems to use some code not compatible with Joomla3. Replacing Jparameters by Jregistry for instance get it to somehow work in the frontend but nothing works in the backend.

I someone has the required skills and some time to kill, it s a small plugin and useful plugin for the community.

userExtendedFields.php : Near line 43, replace JParameters by JRegistry

Plugin now install correctly on Joomla 3.0, i have my extrafields (that were already in the database) to display in frontend. I also have access to the admin part of the plugin

Now looking to get the plugin to work in users managerment screen

I can not get this extension to install on a new Joomla 3.1.5 site. Are others having this problem also?
