Hi, I want to create a user registration form that will show an extra field which depending on what value is entered will assign a user group to the new user.

The extra field will call for a code which must be checked against a table of values in the database for its existence. If it exists the user will get full membership, otherwise the user will only get limited membership.

How would I go about doing this with the k2 user registration form?

Thank for the reply, No I don't know how to make a plugin. I do know a bit of php but I wouldn't know where to start with making a plugin. Do you know any good resources for learning?
