But that's not it as the whole Back end of K2 is just one big fat 404 error and all it sees is also the same including checking the Category .. Back End .. Nada

Up to trying any other suggestions

Are all of K2's plugins enabled? Did you check your error_log for any potential error?
Are the db tables there?

I Checked Plug Ins and all enabled .... im about at that level of expertise ... is it on .. Yes

I looked Convincingly at the Control Panel Error Logs and after 5 minutes realized I have No Idea what its going on about

Im guessing database tables exist and working as the rest of the site is working Hunky Dorey ... I was really hoping somebody would say ... ooohh I know this ... its your flux Capacitor Off add this Zip update and the world will work again

But Im getting the feeling that its another day of head scratching and staring at code that a world war 2 code breaker would get a headache from,

Tinkering with Code I don't understand it always has a domino effect later on ... I tried installing again ( K2v2.6.8. ) and all said successful but No Show from anything front or back end K2 Wise

Anything Simple anybody could suggest that would get it working ... would be bloody Awesome

Anybody .... Any Ideas ... I have found the Tables in the Database and Copying the Items into Joomal Articles .. but be nice to use K2 again

If anybody knows how to get K2 Working again ... Please ... shout out

Just try to install K2 2.6.8 again without uninstalling first so you don't lose your data.

Tried re-installing 2.6.8 .. same 404 Error Back / Front End when I select K2 and I tried totally uninstalling (Manually Copying items from the Database into Joomla Articles before hand ) then re installing a clean install and even though install shows success .. as soon as I select K2 Error 404 Component Not Found

I deleted everything again and going to try another article Component for now

Thanks for trying though ... i might re try another time in the future or if anybody knows of a solution as I would like to use Gavick News with K2 ...

Have you tried on a clean Joomla! installation? Are you on a local server or a live server?

its a Live Server .. that's took months to get working properly and looking something like I want it to .. So thanks but that would be a totally last resort Clean Install of Joomla for K2 ... no, I went with another component, that seems to be working well

I might re try in the future K2 ... but for now ... I just want something that works and hassle free ... thanks for your help though ... but I shudder at the thought of starting again

I am haveing a similar problem. the forum ref is #133889.

Not sure if its connected but k2 backend no longer works after joomla upgrade from 3.3.1 to 3.3.6. Dont want to have to look at moving all my articles and modules away from k2 to another component.

Really hope someone can help.

Which error message are you getting?
You might need to enable error reporting, from your site's Global configuration to see the actual error.
