K2 - cant delete or unpublish category or article

K2 - cant delete or unpublish category or article was created by cegi

Hi,
can anyone have the same problem or maybe someone knows how to fix my problem :

when i try to unpublish or delete article (does not matter which) aftter click delete backend is refresing and back to main backend desktop....
and it does not matter also that article is in trash...

i can delete all categories but i can`t delete the "deleted" articles or category... it always geting me back to main dekstop

also sometimes (not always) when i try to add new articles it is geting me to main desktop...

i cant workt with that... this is really annoying...

Hello cegi,

What Joomla! and K2 versions do you use?

If you have Joomla! 3.2.1 I would recommend you updated your K2 to version 2.6.8 SVN located here: getk2.org/assets/get/ and check again.

i have joomla 3.2.2 and k2 2.6.7

i do as you say and instal new version of K2 from your link but this problem is still exist - when i try to sign all articles - more than 20 and delete them it geting me to main desktop...

any other ideas ?

Please try to do this

In Joomla Admin area go to Extension Manager > Discover (side bar nav)
Click on the "Discover" button at the top.
Find all of the K2 files that weren't installed and select them. Click on "Install" button at the top.
Go back to Extension Manager > Install
Reinstall the K2 SVN version zip file on top of your old installation.

unfortunately it not help... i do everything what you say and nothing... is still comming back to maindekstop...

Try to see if you can delete one or two articles in order to locate the source of the problem.

ok - so after test :

i cant chage a quantity of displaying articles - i set : display all and now i cant change it for eg to 50 or 20 or 5... everytime ig geting me to main desk.

the same situation is after try to delete 1 article - i cant - it geting me to main destp.....

Go to Extensions Manager -> Database and try to make a Fix database in case that helps.

Do you use a third party plugin/extension? Try to Disable them one by one and check again.

i don't know what you do you thinking of ?
i disable JCE, Simple Im.gallery, allvideo... something more ?

Sent me access to your backend to check it out.

Make sure you have taken a fullsite backup since I might re-install K2.

regarding backup - it is my test site and i thing that it will be my final version but i have to work but for now i cant run it finally

brzozowiana.pl is now active version of my site but i want to change it to j.3 and new template...

i try to dell almost all articles and import them once again... almost meat that i do not want to dell demo themes articles - this which has english titles
