I have K2 New Installs but this brought no improvement.
Can someone help me here?

Backup ( do it ).

Then try installing the DEV version.

This indicates a server configuration issue.
You need to ask your hosting provider to increase the max execution time to 60 seconds.

With the max execution time to 60 seconds, it also works with the normal version 2.6.9.
