Error After Updating to J 3.5 and K2 2.7

Error After Updating to J 3.5 and K2 2.7 was created by jentooman
I just updated to J3.5 and K2 2.7 this morning. I'm getting an error when saving items.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function iconv() in /home/wwwdown/public_html/administrator/components/com_finder/helpers/indexer/parser/html.php on line 36

New items save, even with the error but pictures are not uploaded. Any ideas?

I fixed this issue after turning off Smart Search. I am not sure why, but I will continue to investigate.

Hello,

This issue is not related to K2. Com_finder threw this error.
Do you get PHP errors when you try to upload images?

No errors when I try to upload images. The item saves, but no image is saved. Once I shut off Smart Search, all the errors were gone.

I can upload images via the content manager, but not from the K2 item edit screen.
