K2 Category display setting - Impossible to change layout grid

K2 Category display setting - Impossible to change layout grid was created by Langagemachine
Hi community,

i try to change the display of each category but impossible.
I have always 1 column, 1 leading, etc.
I try to display all my item in primary in 2 column.

I tested with default template,
i clear my cache, etc ...

I don't understand :(
I have severak site with k2 and i don't have this prob :(

I have K2 2.9.0
Joomla 3.9.11

If it's not a K2 template override issue (=K2 overrides already in your Joomla template), then check if your category inherits its parameters from some other K2 category. This would explain why the grid is not changing. Or, if it's a mashup of multiple K2 categories, check for its menu item as any grid settings there will prevail over the specific K2 category's grid settings.

Hi, no there is no parent category.
I create a new categorywith a new menu item for test and i have the same prob :(

K2 template overrides inside your Joomla template then? Look in /templates/YOUR_TEMPLATE/html/com_k2/.

I don't understand why ?
I did several site with k2 and i don't have any prob to display cat.

Due to time restraints, it's difficult for me to personally troubleshoot a site by logging in etc. If the site is available online, I can have a quick look by examining the structure so I can tell you what's wrong.

K2 cat (news when you click on blog and news 2) are at the bottom of the menu (right) news 2 is a category that I had redone to see if the prob came from news.
I can also give you access to this site is prod.

I have a explication to another forum : He constate a bug in the display, we see that the width of the block of articles is always narrower, inheriting a 50% width that repeats ....
Bizarrre because when i enable a default template i have the same prob.
It's only i,n k2 view ???

Install K2 v2.10 (dev) on top of 2.9.0. Get it from github.com/getk2/k2/archive/master.zip - If you or someone else did not change core K2 files, then something is seriously messed up in K2, as the grid I'm looking at has broken HTML output.

The content in one (or more) of your K2 items contained invalid HTML (=unclosed p or div tag). This caused the grid to break. I enabled HTML tag stripping for the introtext (which is used in category listings) in K2's Settings (see bottom option here jmp.sh/wzjwSBM) and the grid has been restored.
