Hi, i tried to edit the category view adding a custom div (catItemImageBlockBkg) to cover the area of the catItemImage, applying a gradient as background, yet it isn't showing. What can i do to alter the way that the catItemImage gets displayed?

You need to properly close the <div class="catItemImageBlockBkg"> you added. HTML seems to break, that's why you could not see anything... Upgrade your override and ping me again.
