URL duplicating item ID and title alias on pages with scripts was created by Sabina

Hello,

After updating to latest version, the URLs of items that contain image widgets added with a script are generating duplicate slugs of "blog/item number/title alias".

You can view example here: www.dressingwell.com/blog/59-five-fresh-trends-for-starting-the-new-year-in-style. If you refresh the page, it adds another duplicate of the slug.

Articles that do not contain the image widgets appear to be functioning normally. One example here: www.dressingwell.com/blog/57-dressing-from-the-waist-up-enhancing-executive-presence-on-video-conference-calls

Can you please advise if there's something I can do to fix this behavior? I tried different settings in the K2 SEO settings with no luck.

This is not related to K2 or its SEO settings. These widgets do that when there is obviously no need to do so. SEO wise this does not matter because the URL part after the domain is duplicated using JavaScript.

K2's URL router allows for such URLs to still work, but it will never generate them. E.g. this www.dressingwell.com/blog/59-five-fresh-trends-for-starting-the-new-year-in-style/blog/59-five-fresh-trends-for-starting-the-new-year-in-style/MANUALLY-ADDED-PART-OF-THE-URL will also render the first URL you provided, but it will never be generated by K2.

Contact whoever built them and ask them to fix the issue.
