I have a problem with K2 urls

The site URL is stripped from TINYMCE when adding links so they show as href="toy-sales" but instead of going to mywebsite/toy-sales it inserts the category like this mywebsite/deals-glitches/toy-sales so it goes to a 404 error

it was also doing it for images but I used htaccess redirects to solve that

Do you have K2's Advanced SEF option enabled in the component's settings, under the SEO tab?
