Is it possible that the modal behaviour isn't working any more with the latest Joomla updates?
I have two websites with totally different templates. Both act the same way. And in the past all worked fine.

When I click an image in an article, the URL changes in that of the image. It doesn't show up as modal, but as full image.
The same when I want to edit an article. This opens in same window but not as modal but as full window. The close button won't work also because of this (javascript warning when clicking the close button: scripts cannot close windows that were not opened by them)

I can't find any javascript errors.

Anyone has any ideas?
