Hi I´m strugle with floating article intro image

When I make these changes i Google Chrome, It´s look as I want:

"div.catItemImageBlock {padding:8px 0;margin: 0 16px 16px 0;float:left;}"

Then I make this changes in the k2.css nothing happens, why?
