Broken Canonical Link for Category Pagination

Broken Canonical Link for Category Pagination was created by natecovington

I'm having an issue with my site, the category pagination URL looks like this:
www.barrettcommunity.com/local-news/page-2

But the canonical URL is broken:
www.barrettcommunity.com/local-news?start=14

This site uses sh404sef and the K2 sh404sef plugin. Any ideas?

I see that the ?start GET parameter is not stripped in the plugin.

I'll test it out and get back to you.
