We have just released a new update to AllVideos, version 4.6.0, fully compatible with Joomla! versions 1.5, 2.5 and 3.x!

This is both a security & feature release and you are advised to upgrade immediately from any 4.x release of AllVideos to 4.6.0.

This new release addresses the following:
- Updates JW Player to version 6. The previous version (v5) could expose any site to a cross-site scripting vulnerability. Please upgrade ASAP.
- By introducing JW Player version 6, you are now able to always use the CDN-served copy of JW Player and thus make sure your site is always using the latest and safest release
- Fixed the responsive state of videos played back via JW Player.
- Added Vine & Gloria.tv support
- Removed the (obsolete) Google Video service from supported providers.
- Poster image is now available to both local and remote media (must be .jpg only for remote media).
- Updated all existing video providers to use the latest embed codes.
- YouTube embedding is now more flexible (use entire regular or shorthand YouTube URLs instead of just the video IDs). Along with other providers whose embed code is also updated, YouTube will now properly switch to a secure protocol (HTTPS) if your site is using that protocol.
