Extensions -> Plugin Manager and make sure to filter the plugins (system plugins). Finally contact that extensions support to see if they have an solution for that issue.

It is normal to have the same issue with the offline site, since it still requires logging in to access the site.

Another thing I would try is setting the K2 plugin render last in the plugins order.

Hi Krigor,
Thank you for your support,
No, the Component (DJ-Classifieds) work with core Joomla users, there is no option.
But I discover one thing. I just have this problem with site offline!!
For moments I put the site online and no problem at all using the component.
This situation 'kill me', because I have a sub-domain that is a exact replication of the production site, that we use for tests. And, indeed, the only difference is that the test site is online and the production site is not.
Incredible!
Meanwhile, I still have a problem that is how verify, adjust and work with the front-end component, if I can't make it load in offline mode?

Regards and thanks again,

Pedro

I detect a conflit with DJ Classifieds.
1- K2Model::addIncludePath(JPATH_SITE.DS.'components'.DS.'com_k2'.DS.'models');
2- $model = K2Model::getInstance('Item', 'K2Model');
3- $profile = $model->getUserProfile($userID);
4- $avatar = (is_null($profile)) ? '' : $profile->image;
5- if (empty($avatar))

Classifieds simply give me a blank page via menu.
Editing components/com_k2/helpers/utilities.php, If I remove line 3 (in the example, my real line is 65), I can load the Component with no problem but the Author image in K2 Items and User goes away.

Very strange I don't know how can I solve that.

Regards and thanks for any help.

I get the following error when switching from my old theme to my new one. It ONLY occurs on the homepage. Other pages aren't affected. Thoughts?

Error after upgrading to J.3.2.0

Category: English K2 Community

Hi,

And thanks in advance for your help. I recently set-up a new Joomla website. The initial install was through "Quick Install" a Cpanel feature, and it was with J 3.0.3.

All was good.

I then installed K2 v 2.6.7. The installation went well.

All was good.

I then noticed that I should upgrade my Joomla install through the automatic update to J. 3.2.0

All was not good.

The front end of my site is not accessible. 192.185.143.80/~artimus2

And the back end gives me an error message 192.185.143.80/~artimus2/administrator

Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/artimus2/public_html/plugins/system/remember/remember.php on line 94

Any clues?

Thanks,

Dave

Bug: cli finder_indexer.php crashing on K2 items

Category: English K2 Community

Edit: Sorry, didn't see the bug tracker, before. Filed an issue over there Github issue

Hi,

Just tried to index k2 items through the cli finder_indexer.php and the indexer crashed with this error message:
PHP Fatal error: Class 'K2Model' not found in /some/path/components/com_k2/helpers/route.php on line 318

To be sure, it's not the indexer that has a problem, I also ran it on Joomla content and it ran successfully.

Joomla is v3.2 and K2 is v2.6.8

Greetings,
Frank

Importing content from Joomla 3.2

Category: English K2 Community

I downloaded the latest version of K2 and am now trying to import articles and categories from within my Joomla 3.2 installation.

It appears most, but not all, articles and categories have been imported. During the import I got a message "fatal error: maximum time 30 seconds..." Some sub-categories were not imported. Some articles where not imported though their category was imported.

I understand I should not click the import button again since it may duplicate what has already been imported.

I have a very large database with thousands of news articles covering several years.

Which importing tools would you recommend?

Fatal error: Class 'ConfigModelForm' not found

Category: Simple Image Gallery PRO

Hi,

I am using Simple Image Gallery Pro V3.01 in Joomla in Joomla 3.2.0 with K2 v2.6.7.

The gallery appears without in the front end however when I try to save any of the configuration setting in the admin panel I get an error
"Fatal error: Class 'ConfigModelForm' not found in /home/SiteX/public_html/administrator/components/com_config/model/component.php on line 20"

I have re-installed the component but still get the same error.

Can anyone advise how I can fix this?

How to display extra fields in K2 component

Category: English K2 Community

Is it possible to use similar code in the K2 item description to display an extrafield value?

<?php echo $this->item->extraFields->alias->value ;?>

When I try using nonumber.nl Sourcerer in order to put PHP code in the K2 Item I get this error:

Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in /home/goodwin/public_html/xjoomla/plugins/system/sourcerer/helper.php(552) : runtime-created function on line 7

Nonumbers support states that it didn't work because, "That's because $this->item-> is not known. Sourcerer doesn't magically create that variable for you. "

Please help me display extrafields using JCE in a K2 item description.

No luck with that, I'm afraid.

I've tried updating versions, but am running into an error:

Fatal error: Class 'K2Controller' not found in SITENAME/components/com_k2/controllers/itemlist.php on line 15

Sorry to be a pain with this - it's a small, but very annoying thing I need to get sorted!

Thanks again.

Now it works again. I had to install K2 again.

Just a question? Does some plugins change the K2 code? How can a plugin cause all this problems? It's not good.
