Go to your global configuration set your Error Reporting to Maximum, then enbale the custom code module and check the error your get in the frontend of your site. Please post it here too in order to realise what is going wrong.

hello, i got this error when trying to export:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 96468992 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 10649601 bytes) in xxx/xxx/public_html/libraries/joomla/environment/response.php on line 176

I ask to the host company to increase the memory and they told me this:
128M is allowed to your account, but according to the number (96468992) somewhere in your script 10M is restricted. You have to check your script where it is showing 10M and change it to 128M.

What should i do?

I am trying to add and new or edt an exitsing K2 item on my site and I am getting the following error

I can add categories on K2 etc.

When I write an item with a photo joomla shows me the next message:

"Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 10 seconds exceeded in /usr/home/deporteymujer.es/web/administrator/components/com_k2/lib/class.upload.php on line 4852"

Is that a problem of K2 or is it a problem with my server capacity????

Please, help me.

hey
k2 is really great but i have problem with front end item add, when a user wants to add or edit item or even moderate comments a pop up opens but there is an error message with this text:

i looked inside utilites.php and line 54 is "$profile = $model->getUserProfile($userID);"

Hi kostas,

its not a problem with K2 or YooTheme...it seems the Facebook Twitter and Plus1 plugin is doing the problem. I suggest you unpublish that plugin and use the AddThis plugin...Or simply edit your K2 template to add the social bookmark plugins that way.

If even after disabling the facebook twitter and plus1 plugin you get this problem...please give the new fatal error.

1. Login user
2. Go to "My account"
3. Click to "Logout" -> get message "No Class content Loaded! For Not Having A Fatal Error Later, The Proccess Aborted"!

First off, sorry if part of this is in the wrong area but the other part isnt.

K2 - I only JUST found that when I "front end edit" an article after using the K2 logon and going to "My Page" and clicking the "Edit item" button, editing and then saving it, the saved article doesnt show the changes made on the front end in joomla to any viewer. What have I done wrong there please?

SIG Pro - quite simply, I am getting a lot of errors. When I attempt to upload a single image even if only about 300K in size, I get an error message that says: Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/nov/public_html/administrator/components/com_k2/lib/class.upload.php on line 4866 and I dont really understand that. It doesnt take 30 seconds to upload that size as I use ADSL2+ here. Secondly with the gallery, the site is made so that authors submit articles and some of those authors wish to submit articles with pictures. However, there may be numerous articles on different story line subjects within the one category and there may be numerous authors in the one category and even one author may well publish under more than one category. The docs say I have to manually provide a folder for each time. So if an author wants to upload a new article on a child's subject and let's say it is called "Daisy Cow" and that has pictures within it, am I supposed to, in the back end, go make up a folder for "Daisy Cow" under the root folder? I was hoping JUST to allow ALL authors to upload their pictures into the one folder and only their OWN pictures be shown to them as, I assumed, the uploader K2 username would be noted by the program and thus each author would see only that which they uploaded.

So am I wrong there? Do I have to manually go and do that all myself because it isnt really possible for me to do that with the number of authors. Did I buy the wrong thing for my site and if so, do I have to go elsewhere other than K2?

Ok, I figured it out...

It seems that after installation, although the K2 System Plugin is installed and enabled, in my case at least, despite being already enabled by installation, it was read by K2 Information as being disabled, falsely...

So I went to the Plugin Manager, open the settings, resaved immediately and then it was properly recognized as being enabled...

Just in case anyone ever stumbled across this frustrating silly behaviour...

After installing K2 v2.5.3 I noticed that in the components menu it displayed com_k2 instead of K2; it would only display the menu item as K2 when I had actually navigated to it....weird....

Then I tried setting the Parameters...clicked the Parameters button and i was greeted with this message

 Thanks for the pointer. The problem seems to be with the JA Newspro module. I disable them and everything works fine.

Hello guys,

i recently have upgraded my k2 component to my local system (http://localhost/joomlasite). Everything worked just fine so i just moved files (ftp) and database (export->import) to my online development site (www.bluetree.gr)

My local installation works just fine BUT i have a major problem to my online dev site. When i try to select one of the following:

administrator -> Components -> K2 -> User Groups
administrator -> Components -> K2 -> Extra Fields
administrator -> Components -> K2 -> Extra Field Groups

i received the corresponding errors:

Hi folks, hopefully someone can offer assistance here, I am using 2.5.1 after successfully using 2.5SVN for many months with no such issues, however since I updated to the stable I cannot login on the site and go to my Kunena forum without getting a 500 server error for the following:

Fatal Error: Class 'K2HelperUtilities' not found in components/com_k2/helpers/route.php on line 72

The error was detected in the K2 Component.

Any ideas on what might be the cause of this and where to look for a fix?

I am using Joomla 1.5.25, K2 2.5.1 on a Linux server with Php 5.2.6
When I try to upload attachments I get the following error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 24 bytes) in /public/sites/www.pvdabrabant.nl/administrator/components/com_k2/lib/class.upload.php on line 3036

I happens even when I try to upload a small .txt file with just 25 bytes.

I can't figure out what's wrong with it

I can upload pictures within K2 or with the joomla media manager.
On Main configuration I have max upload size set to unlimmited,
Max upload size is set to 16MB
Upload directories are set to chmod 0777

Someone who could point me in the right direction?

Hello

I have a joomla 1.7 install with k2 2.5.1 and SIG PRO 2.5.6 and i get an error 500 when trying to make a gallery in k2, the files upload fine but when i go to see the article, it shows the error 500, also if i remove the code {gallery} the article shows just fine. I go to the error log and see this:

My php resources:

upload_max_filesize 16 MB
memory_limit 128 mb
max_execution_time 60

The gallery is just of 6 pics with the largest of 200 kb. Hope you can help me, thanks.
