I have read several threads about white thumbnails with this plugin trying to figure out why my site is doing this but I still am having no luck. I just recently upgraded the SIG to v2.2 and I'm still having the problem.

When I click on the blank white thumbnail the correct image shows up but nothing in the thumbnail window. I have checked my cache dir and the permissions are set correctly, and I see the thumbnails that get created but they are not showing up on the page.

If someone could look it over and let me know I would greatly appreciate it!

Have you checked that the cache folder has the appropriate permissions?

Yes, cache folder has 777 permissions

This is has to do with Permissions. Install the Admin Tools extension: www.akeebabackup.com/download/official.html
and press the button Fix Permissions.

My cache folder permissions are set properly, but there are no SIG folders there. Do I need to create folders?
