Dears,

I have a local server installed on my PC, and have Joomla 1.5.23, K2 2.4.1 and Simple Image Gallery 2.5.1. and they work fine when i go to the article and click Image Gallery and upload the zipped file. But when i upload the site on my hosting server and try the past steps, i have an error (Gallery upload error: Cannot extract archive!) when i upload the zipped file.  as in this image:


My hosting company have safe mode on (and for security reasons they can't turn it off), i searched the internet and some how found that i can use php.ini in my public_html folder to override the server's php.ini, and another was talking about editing .htaccess.

Can you provide me with a solution to bypass this problem, or provide me with full steps to create php.ini / .htaccess or any mean possible to solve it?

K2 works only with Simple Image Gallery PRO and not with Simple Image Gallery.
