I am running SIG-Pro (latest version) on Joomla 1.7. The thumbnails display well (using SimpleBox by JoomlaWorks, and Sleek). However, I am using square boxes for the thumbnails (which are not resized) and non-square images therefore leave a black background above and below (or to left and right) of the image.

When the mouse is hovered over a particular thumbnail, this unused background area changes to green, which seems to be a colour inherited from my own site. I would like to force this hover colour to a mid-grey. Please can anyone offer advice?

Why don't you change the thumbnails dimensions -in SIG PRO parameters- so as to be relative to your images dimensions?

If this solution is not what you want, please provide me a link to your gallery page to check your css please.
