When I want to show images from different subfolders like folder1/folder2, it gives me the following warning:

Warning: No images in specified directory. Please check the directory!

Same when I use the SIGE Parameter button and select the desired folder. When I remove the subfolder /folder2 in the paramaters, the gallery works fine.

Further I couldn't find where exactly set or change the root folder "mages" in the plugin settings (version 3.3.).

Can anybody help? thanks in advance.

SIGE is a different extension and is not developed by JoomlaWorks. If you are using SIGE you have to ask it's developers for help.
