SIG error in 3.9.0 was created by Liam Truchard
We have installed SIG, but instead of a gallery, we get just the code ({galley}file name{/gallery}) and then this code at the top of the page:

Simple Image Gallery Notice: It looks like PHP's 'GD Image Library' is not installed/enabled on your system. Please ask your hosting company to enable/install it."

What is that exactly?

In your Joomla backend, navigate to System > System Information and then switch to PHP Information (tab).

Scroll down to this section "gd". Does it say "GD support" "enabled" like in this screenshot? jmp.sh/JMW3WpH
