Thumbnails with black areas

Thumbnails with black areas was created by Martin Baily
On 2 sites we have SIG running (free version). on 'some' thumbnails on each gallery there are black lines. like the image it not resized correctly.

can't find problem despite spending some time on the issue.

Some generic CSS is (for no reason) enforced on all images.

Simply remove this jmp.sh/f1pnIUQ and your gallery will display just fine: jmp.sh/Bdt3DOw
